What problems does it cause
- painful condition in which the finger clicks/locks during use
- tenderness in the palm near the base of the affected finger
- usually worse first thing in the morning
- may require you to release the finger with the other hand
What solutions can be offered
- mild cases can resolve on their own without treatment
- up to two steroid injections
- small operation to create more room for the tendon
